To date- one of my most favorite weddings, favorite venues, and favorite human beings of all time- Kass + Dault on a perfect August afternoon (with a smidge of that Eastern Iowa humidity) at Little Lights on the Lane in West Liberty.
If you’ve never encountered any of the listed above, let alone all of the listed above in one setting- you’re so missing out. Kassie + Daulton are two of the most beautiful souls- no question, inside and out. Along with the people they brought to the party. I knew when they asked me to shoot their day, it was not only going to be absolutely immaculate but also such a go with the flow GREAT time. The vibes were off the charts and the whole day was just giving warm, boho, and entirely wholesome.
And when they choose Little Lights on the Lane as their venue?? Shoot dude..it was over. When these folks decided to build a wedding venue in the middle of nowhere Iowa, they knew exactly what they were doing. Everything about this place, from top to bottom, inside to outside, beginning to end- is not only top notch but so intentional. It’s not only a couple’s dream, but no doubt- a photographer’s.
So once you fill a fantastic space with some of the world’s most stellar people? Yeah, it makes for a pretty kickass time. It’s one of those days you want to relive again and again (and in my case, shoot again and again). Much love to everyone involved- you make my job rock.
